Bruno Magli Designs Park Shin-Hye’s “Doctors”

What happens when a Korean drama about aspiring doctors meets classic Italian design house for luxury goods? We’ll find out when SBS “Doctors”, starring Park Shin-Hye and Kim Rae-Won, premieres on June 20 at 10 p.m. KST.

In the meantime, lets take a sneak peek at what we (shoe-obsessed, fashion-loving, always beautiful SweetNara readers) can expect from this Italian-Korean match.

This poster for “Doctors” uses the hashtag #브루노말리 (#brunomagli) to promote its featured Italian brand. We believe it’s one of the more noticeable (and an increasing) trend in k-dramas to feature brand sponsors on various promotional placements, including this poster.

Product positioning isn’t new to k-dramas (Remember the Laneige lipstick from Descendants of the Sun?), but the marketing tactics have become increasingly diverse, with brands using smart positioning of their products on the stars even before the drama premiers. Park Shin-Hye  was recently featured on the popular South Korean magazine, “Singles” donning this Brunomagli bucket bag.

The Bruno Magli team even sent this cake and flowers congratulating its main model and star, Park Shin-Hye for the premiere of “Doctors!” (as seen on Park’s Instagram page)

One thing is for certain – fans everywhere will be looking at Park Shin-Hye for the style that her high school once-a-bad-girl turned Neurosurgeon character will be wearing in this highly anticipated new drama (according to our Lookbook guru, Alex!)

Doctors is available for viewing on Viki for free if you reside in Americas – Canada/USA / Latin America.

Be your own kind of beautiful,
